We will be giving away trees at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences Reptile and Amphibian Day. Choose from White Oak, Bald Cypress, Sycamore, Longleaf Pine, Buttonbush, Crepe Myrtle, Yellow Poplar and River Birch tree seedlings to take home and plant. We Plant it Forward will give out Longleaf Pine tree seedlings and tree seed kits. Kids can make a newspaper pot, assemble a tree seed kit to take home and grow. Participants will take home growing instructions.
